  • ep-strings-054 exceptional musicians were exclusively chosen by us to be a part of our talented roster and represent EP Entertainment within the Sydney wedding market.

    We assembled a young and vibrant group who are not only very professional, but also possess a very high musical standard and credibility.

    For over eight years EP Strings have performed at a diverse range of venues all over Sydney, from churches to function centres, indoors and outdoors. These include: Athol Hall, Australia Square, Bather’s Pavillion, The Bennelong Apartments, Four Seasons Hotel, Fort Denison, Guillaume, Jonahs, Lindsay House, Museum of Contemporary Art, Overseas Passenger Terminal, Quay, Vaucluse House, Sydney Opera House, The Botanic Gardens and Luna Park.

  • Quartet consists of 2 x violins, 1 x viola, and 1 x cello.

    Trio consists of 1 x violins, 1 x viola, and 1 x cello.

    It is recommended for weddings, to book for 1.5 hours for a civil ceremony, or 2 hours for a church ceremony.

    About our Performers
    Annabel Pope (Viola)
    Annabel is a Bachelor of Arts (Music major)/Law (Honours) graduate from the University of Sydney. Annabel has taught at various Sydney schools and has been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra, the Sydney Youth Orchestra, SBS Youth Orchestra, a Swedish University Orchestra and is a current member of the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Annabel has travelled Europe extensively with the SBS Youth Orchestra and is the manager of Strings on Sydney.

    Clare Miller (Violin)
    In 2005, Clare graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and is currently completing a Masters in Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Clare has spent part of her Masters degree studying in Manchester and Freiburg with renowned chamber musicians Christopher Rowland and Sylwie Altenburger. Clare has travelled to various countries to perform including China, Hong Kong, Austria, Germany and England and has taken part in many Australian performances such as the National Chamber Music Competition in Melbourne and the Sydney Philharmonia Orchestra.

    Alistair Sung (Cello)
    Alistair has studied cello intensively in Canberra at the Australian National University under the tuition of renowned Australian cellist David Perreira. He is currently studying Arts/Music at the University of New South Wales. He has been a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra, the Performing Arts Unit Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camp. Alistair also teaches cello to school students.

    Jessica Love (Violin)
    For over two years, Jessica has been Head of String Instruments at Sydney’s school for boys Newington College. Jessica has a Bachelor of Music Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney. As Head of Strings at Newington College, Jessica teaches violin, classroom music and conducts various orchestral ensembles. Jessica has been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra, the Sydney Youth Orchestra and the SBS Youth Orchestra.
