  • Outgoing and charismatic; cheeky yet witty – Her style is raw, real and personal. Her mixing focuses on spinning the right kind of tone to a crowd, injecting personality and energy into all her sets, all whilst reaching punters on a personal level.

In a testosterone-driven dance music industry back in the mid nineties, DJ Jessie began her career as a radio DJ at the tender age of 15. Never one to shy away from the limelight, her well honed verbal skills became apparent, as she quickly developed a strong network of contacts throughout the DJ and nightclub industry in the 90’s, while still attending high school.  After years of being told she suffered from ‘verbal diarrhoea’ she realised she might be able to get paid to talk continuously about dance music for a living. Her legendary linguistics earned her a cult following, and she was invited to participate on the infamous dance music station WILD FM, for their final broadcast in 2000.

Her efforts did not go unrecognised – she was one of 12 individuals awarded a place at the esteemed AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School) in their full time Commercial Radio Broadcasting course. Upon graduating Jessie worked for numerous commercial radio networks, all over Australia including the Rural Press Network, Austero, ARN, DMG Radio, Super Network, WIN Radio and SBS Radio. Over the years she has also kept herself busy with DJ work, and quickly earned a reputation as a crowd pleaser, spinning her own unique twist on house, baltimore and hip-hop to crowds in her hometown of Sydney and throughout Australia including Q Bar, Slide Nightclub, T2, Teagardens, Castle Hill Tavern, Mars Lounge, Havana, Grand Tasman Hotel, Star Bar, Castle Hill RSL, The Great Northern Hotel, AKA Nightclub, Club 209, The Tunnel, Hotel Illawarra, Sapphire Suite, Commercial Hotel and Collector Hotel.

Jessie was a finalist in EMI Music’s ‘She Can DJ’ Competition – the winner received a global recording contract.

She is currently a resident at Collector Hotel, playing alongside some of Australia’s biggest hip hop DJs including Troy T, Moto, G-Wizard and Peter Gunz and plays regular guest sets at premium nightspots in Sydney.
